MDO Functional Consultant

Our client, a leading organization in the industrial and asset management sector, is seeking a MDO Functional Consultant to join their team. As a MDO Functional Consultant, you will be part of the Asset Management Department supporting maintenance and reliability teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

MDO Functional Consultant

Remote – Contract

$70-75/HR ON W2

• Design, configure, and support MDO solutions that govern and manage maintenance/asset master data.
• Build workflows, data models, validation rules, and integrations focused on Equipment, Functional Locations, BOMs, Task Lists, and other maintenance objects.
• Develop governance processes and data standards for maintenance master data management.
• Support integrations between MDO and SAP PM (S/4 or ECC), troubleshoot issues, and assist with deployment.
• Collaborate with maintenance planners, reliability engineers, and data governance teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Experience with Prospecta MDO and maintenance master data management.
• Knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) objects and asset hierarchy standards.
• Understanding of data governance, workflows, and validation logic.
• Technical familiarity with integrations and scripting languages such as SQL, JavaScript, JSON, or XML.
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in MDO or related fields.
