- Estimate costs and schedules for software projects, ensuring timely completion within budget
- Negotiate and verify deliverables with stakeholders across functional organizations
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Conduct lessons learned sessions to drive process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field plus five (5) years of experience; or higher degree (MS, PhD) in relevant field plus one (1) year of experience
- Technical knowledge of software development processes, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience documenting and analyzing functional and non‑functional requirements
- Proficiency in tools and applications used in information systems development and project management
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOE Q security clearance
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP, PgMP)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other Agile certifications
- Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops, Jira, Service Now, or similar tools
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
- Current DOE Q security clearance
