This is a broad-based cybersecurity and consulting role requiring experience with modern cybersecurity concepts, cross-agency coordination, and securing large-scale, mission-critical health IT environments. The analyst will contribute to improving cybersecurity posture while supporting compliance, reporting, and joint risk management efforts. This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate across cybersecurity operational processes and stakeholder groups within and between DoD and VA to support maturation of cybersecurity capabilities for the joint EHR environment.
- Apply modern cybersecurity approaches, including Zero Trust principles, to improve overall cyber posture.
- Utilize hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools, network topologies, intrusion detection systems, PKI, and secured network environments.
- Design and implement systems that comply with federal cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver briefings, reports, dashboards, and cybersecurity metrics for leadership and management review.
- Lead and monitor migration of EHR data to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environment from a joint cyber risk management perspective.
- Plan for and conduct cybersecurity tabletop exercises to assess readiness and response capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or another engineering or technical discipline, and 10 years of professional experience.
- Strong understanding of modern cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and secure system design in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting cybersecurity efforts in large, multi-stakeholder or multi-agency environments.
- An additional 10 years of relevant professional experience may be substituted in lieu of a master’s degree.
- Paid time off (PTO) and federal holidays
- 401(k) plan, health, dental, and vision insurance, and other standard benefits
- Remote-first flexibility with opportunities for long-term career growth
- Mission-driven work supporting federal health IT and scheduling solutions
- Professional development in EHRM workflows, cybersecurity, and solution advisory
- $125,000-$135,000
