Job SummarySmartsheet Solution Architect, Pharma IT is responsible for the development of Smartsheet solutions for Slipstream-IT clients. This role will specialize in Smartsheet-centered implementations that scale across teams, programs, and portfolios. Combining deep solution architecture expertise with account management and business development strengths, frequently expanding initial implementations into multi-phase roadmaps and managed services engagements.
Responsibilities- Lead activities including discovery sessions, requirements collection, data management, solutioning, development, testing, go-live, and production/operations support.
- Develop technical documents, process maps, roadmaps, and system architecture designs.
- Provide technical & functional leadership during project planning and delivery for all aspects of our delivery services.
- Analyze business requirements to design solutions that identify functions to be developed and automated, including desired features, detailed inputs and outputs for moderately complex projects.
- Develop and maintain RAID logs (Risk, Action, Issues & Decisions) to ensure Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions are identified, monitored, and managed.
- Work directly with our clients, set appropriate expectations and own the success of the project implementations.
- Understand, utilize, and communicate best practice methodologies and industry standards internally and externally.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies.
- Lead and deliver high quality solutions by evaluating, designing, and implementing technologies that ensure enhanced performance, security, stability, and efficiency in the delivery of quality services.
- Develop proof of concepts, where necessary, to help validate technical requirements.
- Prototype novel solutions to prove feasibility and develop implementation documentation for proposed solutions.
- Represent solution approaches with internal teams to gain alignment.

- 5+ years of relevant professional experience and a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Statistics, Data Science, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Work Management concepts and processes.
- 3+ years of experience using Smartsheet Premium products like Data Shuttle, Dynamic View, Data Mesh, Pivot & Calendar.
- 3+ years of experience using Control Center and Developing Blueprints.
- 2+ years of experience using Smartsheet Resource Management.
- 2+ years of experience using Bridge.
- Previous background in consulting experience.
- Smartsheet Certified Solution Architect.
- Smartsheet Core Product Certification.
- Smartsheet Project Management Certification.
- Typical schedule will be Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
- Must be flexible to accommodate departmental needs.
- At times, overtime may be needed to accomplish deliverables which could include evenings or weekend hours.
- Place of employment is expected to be 100% remote.
- For all remote meetings, all employees are required to be on-camera with appropriate business casual attire and background.
- This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods in front of a screen.
- The ability to move about to accomplish tasks.
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions.
- Communicating verbally and written word with others to exchange information.
- Exposure to a standard office environment with average room temperatures with no adverse environmental conditions expected.
- Ability to travel within the continental USA via plane or car required.
- Must be able to be on-camera for all virtual meetings.
