APPLIED AI SCIENTIST - INTERN

The Max.

AI platform team is driving the development and commercialization of a robust ecosystem of AI and Generative AI products across industries. Key offerings include:

Max.

AI: A cross-industry platform that integrates traditional machine learning and automation with cutting-edge large language models to meet evolving client demands.

Personalize.

AI (P.AI): A patented, cloud-native AI SaaS product that leverages customer data-such as loyalty programs, clickstream, and transactions-to deliver hyper-personalized content, journeys, and product recommendations.

What You'll Do

* Develop advanced algorithms that solve problems of large dimensionality in a computationally efficient and statistically effective manner

* Execute statistical and data mining techniques (e.g. hypothesis testing, machine learning and retrieval processes) on large data sets to identify trends, figures and other relevant information

* Evaluate emerging datasets and technologies for our analytical platform

* Owning the development of select assets/accelerators for efficient scaling of capability

* Contributing to the thought leadership of the firm by helping in researching the evolving topics and publishing them

What You'll Bring

* Candidates should be pusruing a master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field with strong academic performance in analytic and quantitative coursework;

* Interest and experience in GenAI and Machine Learning

* Knowledge of programming - Python (Deep Expertise), Pyspark

* Experience in engineering features from a variety of data sources

* Experience in ML platforms like Dataiku, Sagemaker, MLFlow or other platforms

* Knowledge of big data/advanced analytics concepts and algorithms (e.g. text mining, social listening, recommender systems, predictive modeling, etc.);

* Expertise in developing one or more class of machine learning algorithms (time series, classification, regression, etc.

- preferably in a product environment)
