Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Business Analyst Intern to join the team for Summer 2026! As part of our team, you will gain hands-on experience in the project management field by working with team members on various projects.

This position supports the planning, coordination and execution of projects and initiatives within the Strategic Analytics Team. You'll gain exposure to a variety of analytics and business intelligence teams, working on real-world projects that drive business value and support strategic initiatives. Throughout the program, you'll develop enterprise-ready analytics skills, collaborate with professionals across the organization, and receive mentorship and professional development opportunities. This internship is an excellent opportunity to explore different career paths within analytics, expand your technical and business acumen, and contribute to Amica's data-driven culture.

This position is a 37.5-hour work week Monday through Friday during the summer months. Work from home may be available two days a week once trained to work independently.

Responsibilities:

* Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

* Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Micro Strategy, or Excel.

* Assist with data collection, cleaning, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity.

* Collaborate with analytics, business intelligence, and business unit teams to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights.

* Participate in the design and execution of statistical analyses, experiments, or predictive models.

* Present findings and recommendations to team members and business stakeholders.

* Document processes, methodologies, and results for knowledge sharing and future reference.

* Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.

Qualifications:

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Actuarial Science, Business, or a related field.

* Coursework or experience with data analysis, statistics, or programming (e.g., SQL, Python, R) is a plus.

* Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel) preferred.

* Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to document and communicate work processes to others.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to meaningful projects.
