Description:

This role supports the Department of Defense’s transition to the newly built DoDNET by upgrading outdated networking equipment across hundreds of sites. The technician will travel extensively to decommission, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points (WAPs). Responsibilities include racking and stacking servers, documenting site upgrades, and ensuring readiness for migration. This is a high-visibility, mission-critical project with national impact.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience decommissioning, configuring, and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and WAPs

• 1–3 years of experience racking/stacking servers or working in a data center environment

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• U.S. citizenship and ability to maintain an active Secret clearance

• Security+ certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with WAN infrastructure and Cisco hardware

• Experience working in high-travel roles or with federal agencies

• Active passport for potential OCONUS travel Clearance Level: Secret

• This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) or the ability to be obtain an (Interim Secret, Interim Top Secret)
