The client owns a company based in East Hollywood, Los Angeles that provides social and adaptive skill services to children and adults on the autism spectrum.
This role combines front desk and medical administrative support within a structured and fast-paced clinical environment.
Scope of Work / Responsibilities- Handle all incoming and outgoing calls in both Spanish and English languages
- Manage email communications and client correspondence
- Independently execute and follow a detailed 20-step SOP workflow, including appointment scheduling, session documentation, verification processes, and client data/patient records management.
- Manage billing and invoicing processes
- Provide general administrative and operational support
- Passage Health (primary EHR)
- Microsoft systems
- Ring Central (phone system)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a remote healthcare or medical administrative role
- Proven experience in insurance verification tasks is a plus
- Proven experience in appointment scheduling and patient coordination
- Proven ability to provide billing support is a plus
- Preferred:
Experience in behavioral health or therapeutic/clinical settings - Experience working with EHR systems
Skills:
- High proficiency in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
- Experience handling high-volume calls in a professional manner
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in clinical documentation
- Proven ability to follow detailed SOPs and work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Self directed learner
- Must be proficient in speaking and writing English & Spanish very clearly
- Must have relevant work experience
- Be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding [mandatory]
- Must be available for video meetings with your camera on (when needed)
