In this position, the SAP Data Migration Principal Consultant provides leadership through project management, including defining project plans and delivery approaches for multiple complex or very large projects, delivery centers, or managed service teams. Leads multiple teams in applying their combined knowledge, skills, and expertise to address customer needs, while managing key client relationships and driving new business opportunities. Holds full project management accountability for one or more highly complex or large‑scale initiatives.

Bears significant responsibility for people leadership and talent development. Actively drives the enhancement and evolution of both new and existing solutions.

• Provide leadership through project management, including planning and approach for complex or large projects, delivery centers, or managed service teams.
• Oversee project teams and coordinate efforts to achieve and exceed deliverables.
• Ensure best‑practice methodologies are continually improved and established.
• Conduct resource planning for program management and subject‑matter experts across project activities.
• Publish and maintain program/project status dashboards and metrics reporting.
• Mentor junior project managers on Syniti standards and best practices.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with senior‑level customer personnel.
• Resolve complex escalated customer issues without damaging the relationship or involving senior management.
• Maintain engagement baseline margin by controlling non‑billable time and expenses.
• Demonstrate complete understanding of all assigned contract terms, risks, and policies for projects under program management.
• Facilitate change orders for out‑of‑scope items in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and communicate with client PMO.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Syniti’s data migration/Governance methodology and tools, working to prescribed development standards.
• Maintain related documentation.

• 12–14 years SAP techno‑functional or functional experience; 6+ full SAP implementation life cycles.
• Expert level business‑process knowledge associated with one or more of the following SAP functional modules: FI, CO, MM, SD, PM, PP, PS, EHS, HCM.
• 14+ years of total experience on IT projects.
• Proficient in data migration project management.
• Leadership qualities – leading a large‑scale team as onshore or offshore lead.
• Proficient in Syniti ADM/ADMM/Cransoft/DSP/SAP Data Services/other data migration tools.
• Extensive data quality and data migration experience, including proficiency in data warehousing, data analysis and conversion planning for data migration activities.
• 10 to 12 years of business‑process experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science or other related analytical or technical disciplines, or at least four (4) years related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft SQL; SQL query skills, comprehensive understanding of SQL table structure and relational databases.
