Senior Legal Counsel

We focus on providing MSPs with fundamental tools and technology they need to manage Microsoft Security policies for multiple tenants in a simple and effective way. We’re looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Senior Legal Counsel to join the inforcer team, ideally based in Tampa, Florida. The Legal Counsel will act as a trusted business partner to Sales, Partnerships, and Finance in North America, while working closely with the Chief Legal Officer in the UK to ensure consistency, risk management, and scalable legal processes. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including:

• SaaS customer agreements
• MSP / partner agreements
• Channel and reseller contracts

Join sales calls where required to:

• explain legal positions pragmatically
• support enterprise and strategic negotiations
• Act as first-line legal support for the US sales and partner teams.
• Own contract turnaround times for US commercial deals.
• Improve contract templates and playbooks.
• Partner with Sales Ops / Rev Ops to streamline contracting workflows.
• Ensure commercial terms align with pricing, product, and GTM strategy.
• Support data protection and privacy matters (US + international customers).

Work alongside the Chief Legal Officer on:

• SOC 2 readiness and audits
• CMMC/NIST 800-171 compliance
• Security questionnaires and customer due diligence
• Escalate material risk appropriately while enabling commercial progress.
• Coordinate and oversee corporate filings, annual reports, and state registrations.
• Maintain good standing across applicable US jurisdictions, including tracking deadlines and compliance requirements.
• Assist with board governance materials, resolutions, and corporate recordkeeping where required.
• Partner with Finance, Tax, and external advisors on entity compliance, structure, and regulatory obligations.

Provide ad-hoc support on US employment law matters such as:

• contract templates
• policy updates

• 5–8 years PQE (or equivalent experience)
• Qualified attorney in a US jurisdiction
• In-house commercial experience (SaaS / tech preferred)
• Strong experience negotiating SaaS and enterprise contracts
• Comfortable partnering directly with Sales and exec stakeholders

• Exposure to US employment law in a commercial environment
• Experience supporting international or UK-based leadership teams
• Familiarity with MSP, channel, or partner-led sales motions
• Experience in scale-up or Series B–D environments
