Team OverviewThe Journey Design & Innovation Portfolio within Enterprise Design is seeking a Senior User Experience Designer to help shape intuitive, seamless, and impactful digital experiences for clients, branch teams, and colleagues. In this role, you’ll collaborate with UX researchers, product leaders, and cross‑functional partners to translate user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints into elegant design solutions. You’ll lead design efforts on moderately complex projects, mentor junior designers, and influence product strategy to deliver experiences that exceed expectations.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Design application interfaces that optimize workflow, integration, and user interaction, including data visualizations.
- Collaborate broadly with product managers, developers, compliance, and a strong cross‑discipline team of UX professionals to ensure designs translate into elegant, functional experiences.
- Solve design challenges creatively within regulatory and technical constraints.
- Create and refine wireframes, prototypes, and visual assets to communicate design ideas clearly.
- Apply user research to inform design decisions and iterate based on feedback.
- Ensure consistency and usability by leveraging internal and external design systems, style guides, and accessibility standards.
- Prepare designs for development handoff with clear documentation and annotations.
- Track and evaluate design performance post‑launch using data and feedback.
- Lead cross‑platform design efforts (web, mobile, voice) for cohesive experiences.
- Mentor junior designers and elevate team design quality through feedback and best practices.
- Adopt AI‑assisted design tools to enhance efficiency and innovation.
- Influence product strategy by aligning design decisions with measurable business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in UX design, including:
- Proven ability to lead design efforts on complex projects and mentor others. Strong Collaboration and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex efforts simultaneously. Experience working in a highly matrixed environment and/or the financial industry is a plus.
- Experience with UX methodologies, design principles, responsive design, information architecture, Agile, gap analysis, business acumen, and data storytelling.
- Experience with Inclusive Design.
