About The Role
As a Product Consultant – Facets, you will make an impact by optimizing and enhancing data management, product functionality, and system performance within the Facets ecosystem. You will be a valued member of our product and engineering teams, collaborating closely with technical stakeholders, business partners, and domain experts to improve product capabilities and support key business objectives.
In This Role, You Will- Lead the integration and optimization of the Facets Data Model to support efficient data processing, system enhancements, and product scalability.
- Provide expert PL/SQL technical guidance to improve database performance and streamline operations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align product functionality with business and market needs.
- Analyze complex datasets to inform product decisions, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement.
- Champion innovation by recommending and implementing enhancements that elevate the Facets platform’s overall performance and usability.

Required Qualifications- Extensive hands‑on experience with Facets product functionality, data structures, and the Facets core data model.
- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, with the ability to design, optimize, and troubleshoot complex database solutions.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret large datasets and guide product decisions.
- Ability to work effectively within a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and onsite collaboration.
- Strong communication skills to support alignment across technical and non‑technical teams.
- Experience with .NET and/or Angular frameworks.
- Prior experience working in the payer domain, bringing insights into industry needs and regulatory considerations.
- Background in product innovation, identifying opportunities for enhancements within enterprise platforms.
- Familiarity with software development best practices to ensure quality, stability, and scalability.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $110 - $128K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
