You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive best practices, and help shape products that make a real difference in people's lives, all from the flexibility of a remote work environment.
Responsibilities- Lead and oversee end-to-end quality assurance processes for accessible hardware products.
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for both hardware and embedded software.
- Develop and manage automated and manual testing frameworks to ensure high reliability and accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and UX teams to resolve quality issues and integrate accessibility best practices.
- Monitor and report quality metrics, identifying root causes and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and guide QA team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with industry and accessibility regulations throughout the QA lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience in quality assurance leadership within hardware or related manufacturing environments.
- Strong proficiency in developing and executing automated and manual test strategies for hardware and embedded systems.
- In-depth understanding of accessibility requirements (such as ADA, WCAG) and their application to hardware products.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across product development cycles.
- Background in firmware or embedded software quality assurance.
- Certifications such as ISTQB or Six Sigma.
- Exposure to regulatory compliance frameworks relevant to accessibility and electronic hardware.
- Hands‑on familiarity with common QA automation tools and scripting languages.
- Experience working in remote or distributed teams.
