Cloud Data Engineer / AWS – Remote role

• 5+ years’ experience with cloud-based big data storage, processing, ETL/ELT, and ingest tools such as S3, AWS Glue, and Apache Spark
• 3+ years’ experience with manipulating both SQL and No
  
  SQL-based file types and data structures
• 3+ years’ experience with software development as part of an agile-based Dev team
• Data modeling at the conceptual and logical level
• Data model implementation at the physical level – Star schema, Snowflake schema etc
• Good working experience on Amazon Redshift, Amazon Glue and other tools related to data storage and content within AWS
• Good understanding of core AWS services, uses, and AWS architecture best practices
• Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining AWS-based applications
• Ability to analyze requirements, evaluate alternate designs and propose solutions in an AWS Environment
• Good in Oracle, PL/SQL
• Exposure to Informatica and AWS Integration
• Proficiency in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based applications using AWS
• Work in an onsite-offshore model involving daily interactions with Onsite teams to ensure on-time quality deliverables
• Candidate should have good communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to facilitate and coordinate discussion and to manage expectations of multiple stakeholders
• Exposure to Agile methodologies or iterative development processes

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

• 5 years Cloud Dev and Migration-AWS-Analytics/DW/Redshift
• 1 year Oracle/PL SQL
• 1 year Data Integrator-ETL-Informatica
