York Solutions is hiring a Technology Risk & Control Analyst.

This role will focus on strengthening information security practices, maintaining compliance frameworks, and supporting risk management initiatives across the enterprise. The right person will bring a hands‑on approach to policy development, control testing, and documentation, while partnering closely with IT, business teams, and external stakeholders. This is a highly visible position that plays a key role in protecting critical systems, data, and customer trust.

You will develop, enhance, and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures aligned to the organization’s overall risk strategy. You’ll conduct risk assessments and control testing, document findings, and maintain organized evidence repositories to support audits and regulatory reviews. This role also supports vendor risk management efforts, including contract review and third‑party risk assessments. You will collaborate across teams to ensure appropriate security controls are implemented, monitored, and continuously improved.

You’ll also contribute to incident response planning and help ensure the organization is prepared to prevent, detect, and respond to emerging threats.

We’re seeking someone with 5+ years of experience in information security, ideally within financial services or fintech. A strong understanding of NIST (preferred), CIS Controls, FFIEC, SOC 2, and COBIT is important, along with experience performing control testing and maintaining audit documentation. Familiarity with banking systems and regulatory requirements is highly valued, and experience with Fiserv’s core banking platform is a plus.

You should have a solid understanding of IT controls, risk management principles, and today’s security threat landscape. Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate clearly across technical and non‑technical audiences are essential.
