Temporary Housing:

Our office is in North Central Phoenix. New employees will complete in-office training for the first few weeks. The majority of our positions work a hybrid schedule. When ready to work from home, you will be required to come to the office periodically for training and/or meetings. Computer and phone equipment will be provided. You must have reliable high-speed internet service and a suitable workspace at your residence.
Job SummaryThe System Administrator functions as a highly motivated, autonomous team member who maintains, enhances, integrates, and streamlines our systems. This role collaborates with the Systems Engineer, Dev Ops, and Service Desk to assist with customer support, manage daily operations, and deliver projects both individually and as part of a team. Key responsibilities include managing and monitoring Windows Server (2019/2022), administering Microsoft 365 workloads, supporting AWS infrastructure, and ensuring systems are patched, secure, and performing well.
The System Administrator also serves as a liaison between the internal IT team and contracted service providers. With IT infrastructure at the center of our ecosystem, this position plays a key role in the continued growth, ongoing development, and future success of CRS.
Salary range $70,000 - $80,000 annual depending on education and experience.
What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day)Your work will blend project delivery, maintenance, support, and collaboration:

Implement new technologies, integrations, and improvements - Maintenance:
Patching, monitoring, and optimizing systems - Support:
Resolve tier 2 tickets and assist end users - Collaboration:
Work with IT leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Manage core business systems and software packages including telephony (Vonage), access control (Kisi), backups, and Microsoft 365 technologies
- Administer, patch, and monitor Windows Server 2019/2022
- Administer Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, etc.)
- Support and maintain AWS infrastructure
- Use Datadog for monitoring and observability
- Deploy and manage endpoints with PDQ
- Administer, improve, and integrate Atlassian tools (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence) through configuration, plug-ins, and scripting
- Administer Active Directory and Entra (Azure AD)
- Install and configure new technologies
- Maintain asset inventories, network diagrams, and data flow diagrams
- Work with the security team on permissions, data handling, and physical media disposal
- Plan, execute, and test software updates and system upgrades with minimal disruption to users
- Provide tier 2 end user and hardware support to resolve technical and functional issues
- 3–5 years of experience providing information technology services; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in computer technology or related field AND 2 years of experience; OR
- Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved
- Certificates from recognized programs that indicate mastery of tools and techniques relevant to the assignment may substitute for up to six months of experience
- Experience with enterprise phone system administration (Vonage)
- Microsoft 365 certification
- Experience with Power Shell and scripting/automation
- Experience with web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services)
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with Active Directory and Entra
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Highly motivated and proactive
- Ability to translate user requests into technical requirements
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively on an interdependent team
- Strong documentation skills
