Role: FHIR/API Integration EngineerLocation:
Remote
We are looking for a FHIR/API Integration Engineer to design and build healthcare interoperability solutions integrating with Epic and Epic Payer Platform.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage FHIR APIs (R4 preferred).
- Build integrations for Eligibility, Prior Authorization, Bulk Data, and Document Reference.
- Integrate with Epic and Epic Payer Platform.
- Manage API Gateway (routing, throttling, monitoring).
- Implement OAuth2, mTLS, and SMART on FHIR security.
- Handle error management, logging, and production support.
- 4+ years of API/FHIR integration experience.
- Strong knowledge of HL7 FHIR (R4), REST/JSON.
- Experience with OAuth2, mTLS, API Gateway tools.
- Healthcare workflows knowledge (270/271, 278 preferred).
- Experience in payer-provider integrations preferred.
