Job Description
  • The Ping Architect will lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions with a strong focus on Ping Identity platforms.
  • This role requires deep hands‑on expertise in Ping One Identity suite components and extensive experience architecting secure, scalable authentication and authorization solutions across cloud and on‑premises environments.
Requirement / Must Have
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management or related fields.
  • Minimum 6+ years of hands‑on experience working with Ping Identity solutions.
  • Direct experience implementing and supporting multiple components of the Ping One Identity suite, including Ping Federate, Ping One DaVinci, and Ping One Verify.
  • Strong Java development experience.
  • Experience configuring Identity Provider (IdP) and Service Provider (SP) components in federated integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM protocols: SAML, WS‑Federation, OpenID Connect, OAuth, LDAP, SCIM, SOAP, REST, JSON, XML/HTML.
  • Experience with adaptive multi‑factor authentication and identity lifecycle orchestration.
  • Strong understanding of authentication and authorization standards and modern security capabilities.
  • Experience with directories, Single Sign‑On (SSO), federation, and delegated administration.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing architecture, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
  • Ability to communicate complex security risks and technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Experience
  • Experience developing and executing customer identity strategies, including registration, authentication, authorization, and profile management.
  • Experience building APIs consumable by web applications, single‑page applications, mobile apps, and B2B systems.
  • Experience collaborating with product managers and distributed development teams in agile environments.
  • Experience architecting IAM solutions in on‑premises and cloud environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform preferred.
  • Experience with Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solutions preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Architect, design, and implement Ping Identity solutions aligned with business and security requirements.
  • Configure and support Ping One suite components across enterprise environments.
  • Implement federated integrations between identity providers and service providers.
  • Develop and enhance CIAM capabilities to improve customer experience and security.
  • Lead identity lifecycle management initiatives, including adaptive MFA and orchestration.
  • Design and develop secure APIs for integration with internal and external applications.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using agile methodologies to deliver identity solutions.
  • Assess and mitigate identity and security risks.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on IAM best practices and standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance identity platform performance and usability.
