Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Service Now and Agile delivery expertise to lead and manage federal IT initiatives. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a solid project management foundation, hands-on Service Now experience, and the ability to partner effectively with technical teams and government stakeholders in a remote environment.
The successful candidate will oversee Service Now implementations and enhancements, ensure on-time and compliant delivery, and guide cross-functional teams through Agile project life cycles.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage Agile Service Now projects from initiation through delivery
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into Service Now-based solutions
- Manage project scope, schedule, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Use Service Now to manage user stories, backlogs, sprint planning, and reporting
- Ensure project deliverables meet federal security, regulatory, and compliance requirements
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
- Provide regular status reporting to government and internal leadership
- Coordinate with development, testing, and platform teams to ensure quality outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in a related field (Business Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar)
- Five (5) years of professional experience
- Three (3) years of direct experience managing Agile Service Now projects
- Service Now Certifications
- Service Now Micro-Certifications
- Proven experience engaging with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and map them to Service Now functionality
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
Citizenship RequirementU.S. Citizenship required (federal contract requirement)
Highly-Valued Qualifications- Active or previously held Public Trust clearance
- Master’s degree (MBA, MIS, or related discipline)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Service Now Implementer Certification
- Experience using Service Now Agile tools to manage product backlogs and user stories
- Experience supporting federal government projects
- Knowledge of security and regulatory compliance requirements in federal environments
