Eggplant Automation Test Engineer

Overview

CTG is seeking to fill an Eggplant Automation Test Engineer position for our client.

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 months

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Eggplant for Healthcare applications.
• Automate Epic scripts and integrate them with third-party applications, such as Cerner for labs and Sectra for imaging.
• Collaborate with QA, development, and business teams to understand requirements and define automation strategies.
• Execute test plans, analyze results, and report defects in a timely manner.
• Support enterprise-wide initiatives to improve test automation coverage and efficiency.
• Participate in test planning, review, and continuous improvement of automation processes.

• Strong expertise in Eggplant scripting and automation.
• Experience integrating automated tests with Epic, Cerner, or similar Healthcare applications.
• Knowledge of Healthcare workflows, especially labs and imaging systems, is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience using Eggplant for test automation.
• Previous experience with Epic, Cerner, or other Healthcare applications is highly desirable.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise Healthcare initiatives preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60.00 to $70.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
