We are seeking a skilled and experienced engineering lead to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the excellence of our technical support operations. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our technical support capabilities, improving documentation, and collaborating closely with the engineering manager and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.

We are seeking an experienced Service Now Architect to join our team and drive the design, implementation, and optimization of our Service Now platform. You will play a key role in the delivery of Service Now implementation projects and drive strategic transformation of ITIL solution deployment. As the Service Now Architect, you ll be responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions, establishing best practices, and ensuring the platform delivers maximum value to our organization and clients.

• Design and implement scalable, secure Service Now solutions that align with business requirements and IT strategy
• Create detailed technical architecture documents, solution designs, and implementation roadmaps
• Lead the development of complex integrations between Service Now and other enterprise systems
• Establish and enforce Service Now development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to Service Now administrators and developers
• Create target state vision through designs, standards, and patterns
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Perform code reviews and ensure quality control of platform customizations
• Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver optimal solutions
• Evaluate new features in the platform with Service Now releases and the suitability/applicability in the current environment

Required

• 5+ years of experience with Service Now implementation and architecture
• Service Now Certified System Administrator certification
• Service Now Certified Application Developer certification
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and their implementation in Service Now
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web services (REST/SOAP)
• Proficiency in Service Now application development, workflow design, and platform customization
• Experience with Service Now modules such as ITSM, ITOM, SOM, SPM, CLM, S2P, GRC/IRM and CSM
• Experience with Service Now data models and data governance strategies
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

Preferred

• Service Now Certified Technical Architect certification
• Implementation Specialist certification for additional Service Now modules
• Experience with Service Now implementation in defense industry environments
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Experience with Service Now upgrade planning and execution
• Background in IT service management or IT operations
• Experience with Service Now Performance Analytics and reporting
