We are looking for a
** Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
** for an important U.S.

-based client.
** Project:
** Acceleration of platform alignment and deployment repeatability to support large, complex customer engagements and regulated environments, with an emphasis on improving release velocity, architectural consistency, and time-to-market.##
** SKILLS**###
** MUST HAVES
*** Extensive experience designing and implementing automated test suites for backend and microservice-based systems.
* Strong skills in building and maintaining CI-driven QA pipelines (preferably Jenkins), including integration of unit, integration, end-to-end, and regression tests.
* Hands-on experience creating and maintaining automated tests for containerized services (Docker) running on Kubernetes.
* Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and ability to design, implement, and maintain API-level automated tests (including negative, boundary, and contract tests).
* Experience working with behavior-driven or specification-style tests (e.g., Gherkin) and applying linting/quality standards to feature files.
* Proficiency in Python and comfort working with polyglot repositories where services are written in Golang and tests may use other languages.
* Strong skills in test strategy, test data management, and environment setup for complex distributed systems.
* Experience wiring automated test results into reporting tools (e.g., JUnit XML) and making them visible in CI/CD and dashboards.
* Proven ability to collaborate closely with developers and Dev Ops engineers to build reliable, repeatable test stages in the delivery pipeline.### ###

*** Exposure to Lua or similar languages for specialized QA tooling or embedded scripting.
* Experience with mocking/stubbing external dependencies in containerized test environments (e.g., Local Stack for AWS services).
* Understanding of observability-driven testing, including validating metrics, logs, and health endpoints as part of automated checks.
