Cloud Expert

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Expert to implement, operate, and optimize cloud services
, primarily Microsoft Azure
, in alignment with approved enterprise architecture, security standards, and Microsoft platform configurations
.

The Cloud Expert owns execution and operational responsibility for:

• Hybrid cloud connectivity (implementation only)
• Cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-SaaS integrations
• SharePoint Online ↔ Share Suite integration (technical execution)
• Cloud performance, availability, and cost optimization
• Cloud automation and integration reliability

• Deploy, operate, and maintain Azure cloud workloads
• Manage virtual machines, app services or integration services, storage and networking components, and availability & performance requirements
• Implement solutions strictly according to approved architecture designs
• Execute approved hybrid connectivity between on‑premises and Azure (VPN, routing, traffic flows)
• Implement and operate technical integrations between SharePoint Online and Share Suite, ensuring data synchronization reliability, performance, and availability
• Maintain integration documentation and runbooks; troubleshoot integration failures with Microsoft Expert (SharePoint Online) and application owners (Share Suite)
• Monitor cloud workloads and integrations for availability and performance; provide Level 3 escalation for execution issues; implement and test backup and recovery mechanisms
• Identify and remediate over‑provisioned or unused resources; implement cost‑optimization actions and provide cost insights to IT leadership
• Automate cloud and integration deployments using ARM templates, Bicep, and Terraform (preferred)
• Maintain architecture and flow diagrams, operational runbooks, and up‑to‑date documentation; support operational handover and knowledge transfer

• 8+ years in infrastructure, platform, or cloud engineering roles
• 5+ years hands‑on Azure cloud execution experience (preferred)
• Proven experience with cloud‑to‑cloud or cloud‑to‑SaaS integrations and hybrid cloud environments
• Strong troubleshooting and operational background
• Mandatory technical expertise in cloud networking/connectivity and API‑based integrations
• Hybrid connectivity: on‑prem to Azure, VPN, routing implementation
• Automation: ARM / Bicep, Terraform (preferred)
• Soft skills:
