Overview
As a Legal Enablement & Success Analyst you will strengthen Riverside’s ability to empower educators and grow the potential in every student by ensuring timely, organized, and high quality legal support across our teams. You will serve as a trusted liaison between Legal and cross-functional partners, owning intake processes, managing workflow, and enabling efficient, consistent delivery of legal services that accelerate our impact.
By maintaining visibility into priorities, implementing legal systems and analytics, and enhancing processes, you will help Riverside operate with clarity, compliance, and confidence as we support learners and educators nationwide.
This role manages legal intake and workflow, supports privacy and compliance operations, and administers legal systems including contract lifecycle management tools. You will coordinate closely with Sales, Product, Finance, Security, and Operations to keep matters moving, surface risks, and ensure transparent communication. You will also support the team’s work to integrate AI into legal processes to improve speed, quality, and scale.
Key Responsibilities- Legal Intake, Workflow, and Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as the primary intake point for legal requests, including contracts, privacy reviews, compliance inquiries, and operational matters.
- Triage and coordinate incoming requests by confirming scope, collecting required details, and routing to appropriate Legal team members.
- Maintain visibility into active matters, including priorities, timelines, dependencies, and ownership.
- Communicate clear next steps, timelines, and status updates to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Identify potential bottlenecks or risks and escalate when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Data Privacy, Compliance Support, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement
- Support review and administration of privacy agreements, including DPAs, FERPA and COPPA materials, and security questionnaires.
- Track privacy obligations and maintain proper documentation and recordkeeping.
- Coordinate with Privacy, Security, and Technology teams on customer and vendor privacy inquiries.
- Track deadlines and required inputs for subpoenas, audits, and regulatory requests, ensuring audit-ready documentation.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting on legal workload, turnaround times, and process performance; analyze trends and recommend improvements.
- Own legal intake, tracking, and workflow systems, including CLM tools; manage configuration, access, and data accuracy.
- Design, document, and refine legal workflows, SOPs, and processes for consistency, scalability, and efficiency.
- Partner with IT, Security, and Operations on system enhancements, integrations, and legal tech optimization.
- Apply project management principles to legal operations initiatives, including implementations, integrations, process redesign, and documentation workflows.
- Maintain legal process documentation, system configurations, templates, and knowledge repositories.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; paralegal certificate a plus.
- 3+ years of paralegal, legal operations, or contract management experience, preferably in a corporate legal department.
- Experience with legal systems such as CLM or legal intake tools and maintaining data integrity and reporting.
- Familiarity with data privacy concepts including DPAs, FERPA, COPPA, GDPR, or state privacy laws.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in technology, SaaS, or education technology environments.
- Prior work with contract management systems or workflow tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build collaborative relationships.
- Comfort working in a fast paced, evolving environment.
- Remote.
- Travel 1–2 times a year for offsite team meetings or conferences.
- May require stationary positions (sitting or standing) for extended periods.
