Accountabilities
  • Administer and maintain Web Sphere MQ environments, including installation, configuration, and upgrades
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of MQ infrastructure
  • Monitor and troubleshoot MQ issues, collaborating with development teams to resolve problems
  • Develop and implement MQ backup and recovery strategies
  • Administer and maintain Kafka Infrastructure
  • Provide technical expertise and support for MQ and Kafka applications
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with Web Sphere MQ or equivalent messaging systems
  • Strong knowledge of MQ architecture, configuration, and administration
  • Experience with Kafka and familiarity with AWS and mainframe environments
  • Strong understanding of messaging concepts, protocols, and standards
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Unix shell, Perl, Python)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
