Location: Onsite Green Bay, WI
Carex is partnering with a food manufacturing partner to find an IT Plant Service Contractor (ITPS-Contractor) who will provide hands‑on IT support across local and remote office and manufacturing environments. This role plays a critical part in maintaining IT systems, ensuring reliable infrastructure for business operations, and supporting Global IT initiatives. The ITPS-Contractor will work closely with diverse Global IT teams and business units to deliver secure, high‑performing, and highly available technology systems essential to plant operations.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Deliver tactical support for a variety of IT systems including end‑user devices, servers, networking equipment, printers, and plant‑connected lab technologies.
- Provide diagnostics, repair, and installation of IT hardware and software following defined standard operating procedures.
- Respond to and resolve end‑user support requests, maintaining clear communication throughout the resolution process.
- Track all support activities in the Service Management tool and ensure timely updates and issue resolution aligned with established SLAs.
- Support the deployment of hardware, software, and IT processes as part of broader Global IT projects.
- Perform lifecycle replacements and ensure documentation of all troubleshooting and support procedures.
- Provide on‑call 24x7 support coverage for assigned plant or regional operations as needed.
- Participate actively in team and cross‑functional meetings to align with IT strategies and goals.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in an IT support role within a manufacturing or mixed‑use technical environment.
- Demonstrated ability to support a wide range of hardware, software, and networked systems in a fast‑paced setting.
- Proficiency with incident tracking tools and a strong commitment to meeting service‑level expectations.
- Experience coordinating with multiple IT and business teams across global locations.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and follow‑through skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and maintain high availability as needed.
