ADABAS DBA Opportunity - 100% Remote (US-Based)
We're seeking an experienced ADABAS Database Administrator to support a critical healthcare services program. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled DBA professional to work with legacy mainframe systems in a mission-critical environment.
Role: ADABAS DBA
Location: 100% Remote (Must be US-based)
Schedule:- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week)
- Excluding client holidays
- On-call availability required for after-hours and weekend support as needed
- Support client DBA activities and database administration
- Perform ADABAS file operations: reorders, saves, restores, inverts, loads, unloads, and updates
- Administer Natural development environments (Production & Non-Production) using SYSPARM, SYSMAIN, and SYSEXT
- Support ADABAS enhancements, including file creation and DDM creation
- Administer and support MOVEit interfaces between MA21 and business partners
- Create and secure Windows folders
- IBM messaging, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Monitor listener status and ensure system reliability
- Monitor and restart services as needed
- Must be physically located within the United States for the duration of the engagement
- Strong experience with ADABAS and Natural programming environments
- Proven track record in database administration and maintenance
