Our Data Center Operations team has an exciting opportunity for a Computer Operator—an essential role and an excellent gateway into Jack Henry. We’re looking for someone who enjoys system‑focused work and takes pride in keeping critical banking operations running seamlessly. In this position, you’ll monitor systems, complete daily operational tasks, and support iSeries processing for our financial institution clients. Your responsibilities can include end‑of‑day processing, managing ACH and origination files, creating file transfers, and assisting with support cases tied to day‑to‑day operations.

This hands‑on role is vital to maintaining consistent service, adequate coverage, and the high level of reliability our customers depend on, making your contributions both meaningful and immediately felt.

This is a remote position and candidates must live within approximately a 70‑mile radius of our office locations in Allen, TX;
Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO.

The salary range for this position is $33,571‑$50,324 and will be determined based on location and experience level.

• Maintains necessary operating records, check lists, and procedures to ensure accuracy and completion of functions.
• Utilizes scripted instructions to perform routine processing functions to meet deadlines or standards.
• Provides support to customers and internal users in a courteous and professional manner.
• Monitors the console and other online systems. Responds with appropriate actions and escalation.
• Follows established guidelines to ensure security of data and computer systems.
• Completes the shift turnover log for the next shift; and reviews the shift turnover log from the precious shift.
• Contacts the Operations Unit Manager for assistance as needed.
• May perform other job duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in monitoring computer systems or queues, providing technical support, working as a computer operator, or supporting operations within a financial institution.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established procedures accurately and consistently.
