We need a Senior Account Executive who thrives on complexity and closes $150K–$1.5M+ deals. This isn't a role for ordeandr-takers. You'll lead consultative sales with C-suite stakeholders, diagnose technical challenges, turn intricate commerce problems into compelling transformations.

Responsibilities Enterprise Sales & Complex Deals
  • Own the full sales cycle for $150K–$1.5M+ eCommerce engagements from discovery through close
  • Lead high‑stakes conversations with executive stakeholders, controlling narrative, scope, and expectations
  • Build and manage robust pipelines through disciplined prospecting and account‑based selling
  • Diagnose business challenges and create solution‑oriented proposals that differentiate Anatta
  • Build instant credibility by referencing relevant implementations and demonstrating Shopify ecosystem mastery
Expert‑Level Commerce Knowledge
  • Serve as subject‑matter expert on Shopify Plus capabilities, limitations, and best‑fit use cases
  • Discuss commerce architectures, API connectivity, backend integrations (ERP, OMS, PIM, WMS), and scaling considerations confidently
  • Understand how systems connect—you don't code the API, but you know what questions to ask and where integrations break
  • Partner with Solutions Engineers while maintaining ownership of client relationships
Complexity & Pattern Recognition
  • Learn quickly and identify patterns across our client base—recognize when challenges mirror past projects
  • Thriving in ambiguous environments where no two deals are identical but underlying problems follow familiar patterns
  • Help clients envision future‑state solutions by connecting their goals to proven approaches
  • Balance technical depth with executive communication—translate backend complexity into business outcomes
Consultative Selling & Relationships
  • Participate actively in discovery and solutioning—ensure accurate scoping and realistic commitments
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders across marketing, technology, and operations
  • Win competitive cycles by differentiating through expertise and strategic thinking
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine positioning and messaging based on market feedback
Requirements
  • 7+ years selling e‑commerce or digital commerce services with proven success closing $150K–$1.5M+ deals
  • Strong agency or consulting background where technical complexity is standard
  • Deep Shopify and Shopify Plus ecosystem knowledge
  • Expert understanding of commerce platforms, backend systems, and API connectivity
  • Proven ability leading complex consultative sales with senior stakeholders and navigating multi‑threaded enterprise deals
  • Demonstrated success building and managing pipelines
  • Comfortable discussing platform capabilities, integrations, and trade‑offs with technical and business audiences
  • Track record building credibility quickly, recognizing patterns, and moving complex deals forward
  • Ability to travel 25% - 35% of the time
