• Design, implement, and manage security tools and measures to protect data, systems, and networks.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and respond to suspicious activity and potential threats.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.
• Respond to security and IT incidents, perform investigations, and recommend remediation measures.
• Manage and maintain security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and antivirus software.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and frameworks, including SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Administer and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions to maintain compliance across employee devices.
• Serve as the point of contact for IT system-related issues, including access control, authentication, and general troubleshooting.
• Provide training and support to staff on security best practices and IT processes.
• Maintain and manage G‑Suite and other essential business applications.
• Stay current with emerging security trends, threats, and technologies to enhance the company’s security posture.

• 5+ years of experience in IT and cybersecurity roles, with hands‑on experience in designing, implementing, and managing security tools.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and antivirus software).
• Proficiency in network and system administration.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards, including SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage IT support across a remote working environment and diverse time zones.
• Proficiency in managing and maintaining G‑Suite and other business applications.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences.

• Experience managing and securing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of security and IT tasks.
• Experience supporting a remote environment across multiple time zones.
