Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required).
• Experience in IT and graphic design. Able to understand HTML and have a strong working knowledge of Web generators and photographic libraries. Possesses a portfolio of websites or solutions (3 years).
• Experience in human factors engineering, heuristic evaluations, and usability testing for Web and client-based applications, as well as metrics setting and monitoring for assessing the usability of the Web application.
• Experience improving the usability, usefulness, and desirability of Web sites in collaboration with Graphic Designers, Product Managers, Engineering Staff, and other Web Designers.
• Experience performing usability tests, providing design prototypes, and providing ad hoc user interface consulting.
• Experience in requirements gathering and articulation of user interface issues – including development of page/site prototypes.
• Experience in user-centered design methodology, user scenarios, usability testing, storyboarding, paper, and interactive prototypes.
• Experience in integrating design into program rules and system architecture and creating innovative approaches to improving the end-user experience.
• Experience in graphic applications, HTML development tools, and other applicable authoring tools, Web production, and front-end development using programming and scripting languages.
• Experience in platform/browser compatibility and basic usability issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Graphic Design, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

• Experience as a UX/UI Designer (5+ years).

• Design, develop, and maintain visually appealing and user-friendly websites using HTML, web generators, and graphic/photographic tools.
• Conduct usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and human factors analysis to improve website functionality and user experience.
• Collaborate with Graphic Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to enhance the usability, usefulness, and overall desirability of web applications.
• Gather and analyze user requirements, articulate user interface issues, and develop page/site prototypes to support design solutions.
• Apply user-centered design methodologies, including creating user scenarios, storyboards, paper prototypes, and interactive prototypes.
• Integrate design solutions into program rules and system architecture while ensuring platform and browser compatibility.
• Provide front-end development support, create design prototypes, and offer ad hoc user interface consulting to improve overall end-user experience.
