Our pharma client is hiring a Scientific Business Analyst to join their R&D team. This role bridges the gap between complex biological research and digital infrastructure, supporting the Next Gen Bio Registry and Antibody Platform LIMS projects.
Key Information- Role Level: Intermediate (Independent Contributor) – long term contract
- Location:
Tarrytown, NY – Onsite (Minimum 4 days per week) - 10 Days PTO

- Requirement Gathering: Interface with laboratory scientists to document workflows in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, and Immunology.
- System Integration: Support the implementation and optimization of the Next Gen Bio Registry and Antibody Platform LIMS.
- Solution Design: Translate complex bioinformatics data needs into actionable IT development tasks.
- Platform Management: Configure and manage scientific data within industry‑standard platforms (Benchling, Sapio).
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between R&D bench scientists and the IT delivery teams to ensure digital tools meet research goals.
Skills & Qualifications
- Domain Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge in Molecular & Cellular Biology, Immunology, and Bioinformatics.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands‑on experience with Benchling and Sapio LIMS/ELN platforms.
- Industry
Experience:
Proven track record working in Pharmaceutical Research environments. - Analytical Mindset: Ability to map complex biological processes to digital workflows.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to bridge the "language gap" between science and technology.
- Experience specifically within Antibody discovery or development pipelines.
- Prior involvement in large‑scale LIMS migration or "Next Gen" registry deployments.
