Overview
This role can be performed remotely anywhere within Seattle. Fullstory's platform is powered by a simple, yet powerful idea: if you can capture and understand every user interaction, you can build better digital products. We're on a mission to help businesses create exceptional customer experiences. We believe Fullstory should feel like an indispensable teammate: insightful, technically robust, and relentlessly committed to surfacing what matters most.
Data is the bedrock of this mission. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of the governance platform that makes it all possible.
As the Senior Product Manager for our Data Management Platform, you will build the tools that power insights and workflows across our entire product portfolio. You will be responsible for a critical capability that serves our internal engineering and data science teams as well as our customers. Your domain will span the entire data lifecycle, from ensuring governance and quality to enabling analytics.
This is a deeply technical role for someone who is passionate about building an end-to-end experience that unlocks an organization’s ability to innovate with data.
- You’ll own the “why” and “what” for our Data Management Platform, which includes data governance, lineage, data quality, and analytics capabilities. You will develop and evangelize a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with our company goals.
- You’ll be an enabler who obsesses over customer needs to build scalable, self-service analytics capabilities that empower users to work efficiently and unlock new insights.
- You’ll connect with customers by building deep relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and ensure the platform solves data challenges.
- Collaborate across teams with Engineering, Design, Research, and other Product teams to build scalable, extensible, and performant query abstractions.
- You’ll drive adoption by partnering cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services and Solutions Engineering to ensure successful launches and adoption.
- A seasoned Product Manager with 5–7 years of product management experience, proven in shipping complex, technical products in a fast-paced environment.
- A data fanatic with strong familiarity with data, analytics and modern AI products. Deep understanding of the modern data landscape, including data warehousing, ETL/ELT, agentic workflows and the challenges of building data platforms at scale.
- A technical thought partner comfortable in the weeds with engineering and able to contribute to high-level architectural plans and technical discussions.
- A master communicator and collaborator with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A strategic problem-solver who can structure ambiguous problems, develop clear hypotheses, and prioritize work against the most impactful initiatives.
The base salary for this position ranges between $133,000 – 150,000 USD. Base salary will vary based on relevant experience, job-related skills and qualifications. This role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus of up to 10% of base salary, contingent upon Fullstory meeting its performance targets.
