Quality Expert

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and AI industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Expert to join their innovative team. As a Quality Expert, you will support the evaluation and enhancement of AI-driven search systems across diverse markets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, cultural fluency, and a passion for maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Expert

Location: Menlo Park, California

Pay Range: $55-62/HR ON W2

• Evaluate search result pages for relevance, freshness, authority, and thematic cohesion across various query types.
• Identify systematic model failure patterns with technical precision and assess their impact on user experience.
• Perform cultural and contextual analysis, including detecting humor, satire, irony, and language shifts among Gen-Z and Millennial audiences.
• Produce structured diagnostics and analytical reports that inform model architecture decisions and improve AI performance.
• Lead calibration sessions to ensure consistent evaluation standards across analyst teams and monitor inter-rater reliability.

• Expert understanding of Gen-Z and Millennial internet culture, with the ability to stay ahead of emerging trends.
• Proven experience in quality assurance, evaluation science, or search quality roles, with a focus on measurement and consistency.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills, including qualitative research and pattern recognition.
• Technical aptitude to write and modify SQL queries and interpret machine learning model performance metrics.
• Exceptional written communication skills for technical audiences and experience leading calibration or training initiatives.
