What role will you play?You will play a key role in the operational management and continuous enhancement of Macquarie’s enterprise authentication platforms, ensuring they remain secure, stable, and highly available for applications used across the organization.
Across Active Directory and Microsoft Entra , you will manage user lifecycle activities, access controls, and directory integrations that support secure authentication. You will work closely with application owners and technology partners to onboard internal and third‑party applications to multi‑factor authentication, strengthening security while maintaining a seamless user experience.
In this role, you will shape and optimize conditional access policies to balance security, usability, and compliance requirements. You will also lead automation, reporting, and alerting initiatives to uplift operational resilience. With a continuous improvement mindset, you will streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance the overall reliability of authentication services.
What you offer- Strong experience supporting enterprise identity platforms, including directory services, multi‑factor authentication, and conditional access controls, with the ability to maintain secure, reliable authentication services at scale
- Proven capability to automate identity and access processes, develop meaningful reporting, and implement monitoring or alerting to improve operational resilience
- Solid understanding of secure access principles, single sign‑on, and identity governance concepts within cloud and hybrid environments
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex authentication and access issues under pressure
- Clear, effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across technology and business teams
