CORE Elements is a full-service Managed IT provider dedicated to companies in the Gift, Fashion, and Home Décor industries. We partner with our clients to align technology with business goals — delivering secure, dependable systems and proactive support that drive efficiency and growth.

We are recruiting an immediate, full-time position for an IT Support Specialist to work at the Dallas Trade Center located at 2050 North Stemmons Freeway. Initially, you will spend 100% of your time at the facility for training alongside other team members while getting acquainted with client locations and primary contacts.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Effectively support an array of clients within the Dallas Trade Center along with other remote workers, using BYOD devices, and various cloud-based applications
  • Provide great customer service with a professional, helpful attitude and overall work approach
  • Provision and deploy end-user devices, ensuring proper installation and configuration of Windows systems along with iPads, iPhones, Android tablets, and Macs and client-specific software
  • Install and perform upgrades and repairs to laptops, desktops, and other peripheral equipment
  • Effectively support the continuous deployment of new and improved releases of services and supporting technologies
  • Produce and update technical documentation and end-user guides to ensure consistent system usage and support standards
  • Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities via a robust service management system
  • Evaluate new hardware and software solutions as assigned to ensure alignment with client and company standards
  • Assist with the assembly and mounting network racks and various networking, audio, and security camera equipment based on client project orders leveraging best practices
  • Ensure the effective sharing of knowledge with colleagues through proper documentation and joint problem-solving engagements
  • Evaluate existing workflows and technology to identify inefficiencies and implement streamlined, automated solutions
Required Experience & Abilities
  • Ability to work onsite at the Dallas Market Center is required
  • 2 years of experience in configuring and upgrading desktops, laptops, and associated hardware
  • 2 years of experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, and Office Applications
  • 1 year of mobile device computing support with Apple iOS and Android platforms
  • General knowledge of wireless and wired networks using switches, routers, firewalls
  • Experience using a CRM and/or Helpdesk Ticketing system
  • A passion for problem solving and focusing on details
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, maintain a positive friendly attitude responding efficiently to changing priorities
  • Good oral and written communication skills are required; ability to communicate confidently with persons of varying level of technical expertise
  • Patience to communicate with individuals of lesser levels of technical expertise
  • Strong time management capability and discipline to set schedules and work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to improve one’s knowledge and skills through initiative and continuous learning
  • We welcome candidates who are comfortable with or eager to learn the technical aspects of network and audio cabling to fulfill smaller client projects
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to travel:
    Occasional travel required (< 15%)
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including occasional mounting of equipment in network racks, installing security cameras, and lifting equipment
