Eligibility: The position requires candidates to be located within the state of Ohio. Candidates will work onsite in Franklin or Madison County. Interviews will be onsite. Location will be determined after candidate screening.

• Lead the design and architecture of Next Generation Firewall solutions tailored to meet the organization’s security and business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective firewall configurations.
• Implement and deploy NGFW solutions based on industry best practices, ensuring high levels of security, availability, and performance.
• Review and update firewall policies to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Design, configure, and maintain IPSEC VPN tunnels to establish secure communication channels between remote offices, third‑party partners, and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VPN connectivity and performance.
• Implement Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) to enhance network segmentation and isolation.
• Configure and manage Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) to facilitate efficient and scalable routing within the organization’s network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT teams, security analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of NGFW solutions.

  5525‑x, FTD on firepower 2130, firewall 3120 Threat Defense, firepower 1120 with FTD, firewall 3110 Threat Defense)
• ANS Cloud Firewalls
• Knowledge of managing Cisco Meraki switches is a plus.
