Business Continuity Specialist - Remote

• Maintain and enhance the organization's Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Continuity of Operations programs
• Plan and conduct tabletop exercises, functional tests, and communication drills
• Conduct Business Impact Analyses and document recovery requirements
• Develop and maintain continuity plans and disaster recovery documentation
• Provide training and guidance on continuity-related topics to staff and leaders

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Risk Management, Compliance, Information Security, Operations, etc.)
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or federal continuity
• Demonstrated experience leading Business Impact Analyses and developing continuity plans
• Strong ability to interface with technical teams and translate federal continuity requirements
• Proven problem-solving skills and experience managing multiple high-priority tasks

• Experience with CMS or equivalent federal HHS programs
• Strong working knowledge of NIST SP 800 53 Rev. 5 and NIST SP 800 34 Rev. 1
• Experience with cloud-based disaster recovery solutions (e.g., AWS Gov Cloud, Azure Government)
• Possession of advanced certifications such as MBCP, CISSP, or CISM
