IT Manager

The IT Manager will oversee the company's information technology infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems, and leading a small team of IT professionals. Because the team is small, the IT Manager will also handle hands‑on responsibilities in managing and maintaining the IT environment. QAD ERP experience highly preferred.

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the IT department, including network administration, software development, and technical support.
• Lead and manage a small team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and efficiency of the company's IT systems.
• Coordinate and manage projects related to IT infrastructure upgrades, system integrations, and software implementations.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems and applications.
• Work closely with other departments to identify and address their IT needs and provide technical support as required.
• Hands‑on management and maintenance of the IT environment, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Manage IT budgets, negotiate with vendors, and ensure cost‑effective solutions are in place.
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements, recommending improvements to enhance the company's IT capabilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years in IT management or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and databases.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with IT budgeting and vendor management.

• Experience with QAD, Citrix, Microsoft O365, and Azure.
• Additional certifications in IT management, network administration, or related fields.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly HVAC ducting.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
