What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct in-depth reviews of complex fraud cases to identify trends and actionable insights
- Utilize SQL and Python to enhance fraud detection and reduce false positives
- Collaborate with customers to understand their business and fraud requirements
- Deliver compelling presentations for external and executive audiences
- Innovate and propose research to deepen understanding of complex fraud risks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience analyzing, identifying, or mitigating fraud within Insurance and/or Healthcare environments
- Proven experience investigating financial crimes such as account takeover and money laundering
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and Python; numerical degree preferred
- Experience with fraud system management tools such as Threat Metrix and Actimize Falcon
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts such as browser fingerprinting and device authentication
- Familiarity with statistical modeling or graph analysis for credit risk or fraud detection
- Experience building external and executive reports
- Strong critical thinking skills and advanced judgment capability
- Ability to collaborate effectively across various teams
