Lexipol is searching for an experienced Manager of Dev Ops to lead and evolve our Dev Ops initiatives, focusing on enhancing security, achieving SOC 2 compliance, and managing robust infrastructure across both cloud and physical data center environments. This strategic role is crucial in shaping our infrastructure strategy and ensuring operational excellence to support Lexipol's ambitious growth and technology objectives. The Dev Ops Manager will lead a dynamic team overseeing the development, deployment, and maintenance of our infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with the broader technology organization and company goals.

This is a remote position with some travel to the corporate office in Frisco, TX.

Hands‑On Dev Ops Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Dev Ops engineers while actively contributing technical work as needed.
  • Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines across multiple product lines, ensuring automation, quality, and repeatability.
  • Participate directly in infrastructure design, implementation, and troubleshooting across development, QA, and production environments.
  • Participate directly in deployments and releases, supporting reliable and predictable delivery to customers.
Dev Sec Ops  & Product Security
  • Own Dev Sec Ops  practices for cloud‑based product platforms, ensuring security is integrated into CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and runtime environments.
  • Partner closely with the Security team and align on security standards, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements.
  • Implement and maintain security automation within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., static analysis, dependency scanning, container scanning, secrets management).
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities alongside reliability and performance work.
  • Ensure audit readiness and operational support for SOC 2 and other compliance requirements impacting product platforms.
Operational Excellence & Reliability
  • Define, implement, and enforce operational processes including documentation, runbooks, on‑call practices, escalations, root‑cause analysis (RCA), and post‑mortems.
  • Ensure system availability, performance, reliability, and recoverability through strong SRE and Dev Ops practices.
  • Investigate software and infrastructure‑related issues, recommend solutions, and implement improvements to reduce MTTR and prevent recurrence.
  • Support incident response and serve as an escalation point when necessary.
Security & Compliance
  • Implement and monitor security best practices to protect systems and data, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and other applicable standards.
  • Deploy, manage, and improve SIEM solutions to support security monitoring, alerting, and audit readiness.
  • Partner with Security and Engineering teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
Cloud & Infrastructure Management
  • Manage and evolve cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS, with some Azure exposure) and supporting services.
  • Apply infrastructure‑as‑code practices (e.g., Terraform) to ensure consistency, scalability, and auditability.
  • Support change‑management efforts related to legacy systems, new products, and acquisitions.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies that improve reliability, security, and developer productivity.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, QA, Data, IT, Security, and other stakeholders to align Dev Ops priorities with product roadmaps and delivery timelines.
  • Participate in design and architecture discussions, providing operational and reliability‑focused input.
  • Contribute to design documentation, technical documentation, and internal training materials.
