Position: Senior Program Manager, Localization (USA Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Define, develop, and execute the localization strategy in alignment with company objectives
  • Advocate for global users by ensuring high‑quality localization standards and bug management
  • Update and maintain documentation for product or program developments
  • Oversee vendor evaluations and manage third‑party localization vendor quality
  • Collaborate across teams to facilitate data‑driven change management
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • 8+ years of related experience in program, project management, and/or localization
  • Demonstrated experience in crafting localization strategy and leading cross‑functional initiatives
  • Experience managing localization and linguistics vendors to ensure high‑quality delivery
  • Mastery of Translation Management Systems (TMS), Computer‑Assisted Translation (CAT) tools, and content management systems
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Thorough understanding of internationalization (i18n) and globalization (g11n) concepts and standards
  • Experience applying AI tools, machine translation (NMT), or LLMs to improve localization workflows
  • Familiarity with Agile development workflows, including Scrum or Kanban
  • Experience with localization programs or project management in the EdTech industry
  • Master’s degree in Localization, Linguistics, International Studies, or related field
