Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.

Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is seeking an Analytics & Visualization Operations Engineer to provide critical Operations and Sustainment (O&S) support for Operational Analytics Dashboards and Websites. This role ensures seamless data-driven decision-making for NGA executives and leadership while maintaining a strong focus on customer service, data integrity, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Grafana, Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, including MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL, and other relational databases.
• Utilize Python for data manipulation, automation, and processing to enhance analytics capabilities.
• Develop and support web applications using Java, ensuring smooth integration with data visualization workflows.
• Optimize and manage data pipelines to support real-time and batch processing for dashboards.
• Design and maintain data lakes and data warehouses to ensure structured, reliable, and high-performance data access.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve dashboard performance, enhance data integrity, and support executive decision-making.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for analytics platforms, ensuring seamless operations.
• Perform additional tasks assigned to support the mission and evolving project needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience OR:
• Associates degree and 4+ years experience OR:
• Bachelors Degree and 2+ years experience
• Relevant experience in the following:
• Strong experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
• Hands-on experience with Python for data processing and automation.
• nowledge of ETL processes, data pipeline optimization, and database management.
• Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud-based storage solutions.
• Experience in the Intelligence Community
• TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain CI Poly clearance

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
• Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
• Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
• Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.
• Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
