DVS is looking for a Senior Service Now Software Developer for an immediate open opportunity to support the Service Now development and engineering program. DVS seeks to provide support for using Service Now throughout DISA and DoD. This Service Now solution is to be inclusive of Platform and Software Configuration, Development, Integration, Modernization, Expansion, Customization, Implementation, Provisioning, Administration, and Operations & Maintenance Support Services.
This is a Remote Position.
Clearance:
Must be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for DoD Secret security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists with the technical design for architecture, responsible for overall code quality ensuring a highly available and recoverable environment.
- Assist with the design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules and technical solutions
- Develop custom integration components and integrate legacy systems with platform using mid-server and other relevant technologies.
- Document, maintain and update policies, procedures and controls for the platform operation and software development life cycle while promoting agile development.
- Assist Service Now System Administrators with incident resolution, as needed.
- Designs and develops new Service Now applications and services.
- Assist Service Now Business Analyst in estimating release level of effort.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in Service Now development.
- Enterprise and/or IT Service Management
- Service Now System Administration
- Experience with gathering requirements, database design schemas, and data modeling.
- Minimum 8+ Years' experience with Service Now development
- Minimum 8+ Years' experience of developing a custom service portal.
- Minimum 8+ Years of experience with Application
Experience:
Incident, Problem, Change Management, Knowledge, Service Catalog - Experience with process and solution integration, workflow design/configuration, and reporting.
- Experience with Integration components (SSO, LDAP, e.g.) and web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, and Web Services)
- Experience with LDAP Integration, Service Now Development APIs, and diagnosing performance related issues.
Certifications: (one of the following)
- Service Now Certified System Administrator
- Service Now Certified Application Developer
- Service Now Implementation Specialist
Required Education:
- BS degree in any of the following:
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Systems Engineering or equivalent years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DoD customers with strong background in process development and deployment
- Hands-on experience with web service integration (API/web services), Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration and administration, and SQL
- Application experience across ITx, HR, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, Security, Asset Management (HAM/SAM), PPM (a plus), Platform/Integration, Portal/UI, and GRC
- Certified ITIL Foundation v4 Certified or willing to complete one year from hire
- DODI 8570.1-M Compliance at IAT Level I (A+, Network+, SSCP, CCNA)
