- Configure Service Now to meet business requirements at regularly scheduled intervals
- Obtain and validate business requirements with stakeholders and transform them into functional requirements
- Build workflow diagrams and architectural specifications detailing proposed solutions for Service Now improvements
- Monitor key performance indicators to minimize disruptions or degradations in platform performance
- Act as a primary point of contact for Service Now‑related issues and act as an escalation point for internal or external customers
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of System Administration experience in Service Now
- 2+ years of development experience in Service Now, preferably in CSM or ITSM modules
- 5+ years of experience within an IT organization in a product support or development capacity
- Working knowledge of programming languages including HTML and Java Script
- Experience upgrading, cloning, and moving update sets in a Service Now environment
- Familiarity with JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, CSS, XHTML, XML, and web service integrations using REST and SOAP
- Experience managing domain registration and related configuration tasks
- Strong business analysis skills with the ability to engage in conversation while taking notes
- Experience creating and delivering presentations or demonstrations to various stakeholders
