In this role, you will serve as a regional expert for legislation across the US and Canada, leading various legislative projects and ensuring the quality of content in alignment with global strategies. Your insights will help shape content acquisition, publication workflows, and AI integration to modernize legislative processes.
Collaborating cross-functionally, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the legislative datasets that support our partner's objectives.
- Act as the primary SME for legislation across North America and Canada.
- Advise on authoritative sources, acquisition models, and jurisdictional nuances.
- Define content acquisition requirements aligned with global standards.
- Provide guidance on conversion rules and publication workflows.
- Develop and implement a content strategy for each jurisdiction.
- Identify new legislative opportunities and improvements in coverage.
- Translate legislative requirements into actionable backlogs and user stories.
- Lead defining editorial requirements for CMSs and workflows.
- Produce high-quality editorial effort estimates.
- Identify scope risks and communicate them to stakeholders.
- Work closely with GTO and Product/Technology teams to optimize workflows.
- Test new tools and provide actionable feedback.
- Coordinate editorial expertise across multiple projects.
- Manage cross-workstream dependencies from acquisition to publication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
- Law degree (or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in legal research, editorial roles, or legislative content management.
- Proven ability to lead agile ceremonies and methodologies.
- Demonstrated AI fluency and practical experience with AI tools.
- Strong understanding of legislative frameworks in the specialist jurisdiction.
