Our client, a leading organization in the technology and consulting sector, is seeking an ITSM Migration Consultant to join their team.

As an ITSM Migration Consultant, you will be part of the IT Service Management department supporting enterprise-level migration projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: ITSM Migration Consultant

Location: Remote

Pay Range: $100-110/hour, based on experience

• Lead end-to-end ITSM platform migrations, including assessment, design, data mapping, execution, and validation.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis of legacy systems (workflows, SLAs, fields, integrations, automations, custom objects).
• Perform detailed field mapping between source and target systems, including complex custom fields, data types, relationships, and dependent logic.
• Develop transformation rules for tickets, CMDB/Asset data, users, groups, request types, and process workflows.
• Coordinate migration execution with technical teams, including API‑based integrations, scripts, or middleware, and support go‑live activities.

• 7–10 years of experience working with ITSM platforms in consulting, technical delivery, or engineering roles.
• Extensive experience in field mapping across ITSM platforms, including custom and system fields, workflows, and schemas.
• Strong Jira Service Management experience, including project setups, workflows, custom fields, and automations.
• Deep understanding of ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and CMDB/Asset.
• Experience preparing migration artifacts like mapping documents, test cases, validation reports, and cutover plans.
