Technology Operations Intern – Web and IT

Afghan Language Services (ALS) is seeking a motivated and skilled Technology Operations Intern – Web and IT to join our remote team. This 3-month, unpaid internship requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week and is an excellent opportunity for aspiring web and IT professionals to gain hands‑on experience in a mission-driven environment. The ideal candidate will assist in managing, designing, and optimizing our website, while also providing crucial technological support.

Strong candidates will have a solid understanding of Word Press, exceptional content writing skills, and a passion for leveraging technology to further our mission.

Upon successful completion of the internship, outstanding performers will be evaluated for promotion to a paid Associate position.

We Prioritize Applicants With

• Proven experience in content writing, with a portfolio of work (academic or professional).
• Familiarity with AI tools relevant to website management, content generation, or technical support.
• Proficiency in additional languages, such as Dari, Pashto, or Uzbeki, is a significant plus.
• Previous experience in website design, administration, or technology support through coursework, personal projects, or prior internships.
