Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: IT Operations Specialist, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) - $100,000/year USD

You are not here to shuffle tickets. You are here to control the systems that keep an organization operational. If you have managed endpoint environments, SaaS administration, and procurement under real launch pressure, this position will represent a clear advancement. If you are comfortable in slow‑moving IT where systems stay static and deadlines belong to other teams, this is not the right match.

2 Hour Learning is expanding a new K‑12 model driven by AI‑powered personalized learning. As campuses open on a consistent timeline, the margin between “launch‑ready” and “unprepared” typically comes down to operational fundamentals: correct hardware, provisioned and enrolled; correct SaaS subscriptions, activated and distributed; correct communication platforms, configured and validated.

In this position, you will oversee hardware procurement from Dell, HP, Apple, and Lenovo; manage MDM (mobile device management) and provisioning systems; administer SaaS licenses and renewals for 14+ platforms; and deploy the campus technology launch playbook (covering Google Voice, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Rooms). You will capture what succeeds, refine the standard operating procedures, and apply AI tools to automate recurring tasks.

If you value direct ownership, quantifiable results, and the tempo of an expanding school network, we should connect.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Manage full‑cycle device procurement from Dell, HP, Apple, and Lenovo, monitoring lead times and shipment schedules to ensure campuses receive equipment ahead of launch deadlines
  • Configure, image, enroll, and maintain student and staff devices via an MDM platform, ensuring asset inventory remains current across all campus locations
  • Oversee SaaS account management, user permissions, and licensing for 14+ platforms, proactively managing capacity thresholds and renewal cycles to avoid service interruptions
  • Implement the new‑campus technology launch playbook, preparing devices, provisioning platforms, and setting up Google Voice, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Rooms prior to opening day
  • Create and update SOPs, runbooks, and launch checklists, refining them with each campus deployment and automating routine processes using AI tools
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Operating as a ticket queue responder whose performance is judged by ticket closure metrics
  • Designing enterprise IT strategy or engaging in long‑term planning discussions while launch timelines fall behind
  • Placing orders without inventory tracking, vendor management, or specification documentation
  • Depending on others to create process documentation (you will ensure launches are repeatable and not reliant on institutional memory)
IT Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities

This role ensures that every campus opens and functions on time because hardware, SaaS accounts, and launch technology infrastructure are completely provisioned and operational before the first day.

Basic Requirements
  • Currently located in the United States and authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
  • Willing and able to travel periodically to US campuses
  • Experience administering an MDM (mobile device management) platform such as Manage Engine, Jamf, Intune, Mosyle, or equivalent
  • Hands‑on experience deploying and supporting end‑user devices (laptops or tablets), including provisioning/imaging and troubleshooting
  • Experience administering SaaS platforms, including account provisioning, permissions management, and license management
  • Experience coordinating hardware procurement and delivery logistics and/or running asset tracking workflows
  • Evidence of creating or maintaining operational documentation such as SOPs, runbooks, or playbooks
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to troubleshoot technical problems or automate repetitive operational workflows
Nice‑to‑have Requirements
  • Experience supporting a distributed, multi‑site environment where inventory, spares, and repairs must be managed across locations
  • Strong track record of building simple automations that reduce manual provisioning and reporting work
  • Experience configuring or administering communication tools such as Google Voice, Zoom Phone, or Zoom Rooms
