As a Dev Ops Engineer at Parsons, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our development and operations teams. You will be responsible for automating and optimizing our software delivery processes, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our applications and infrastructure. You will work closely with our DCSA partners as well as data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that our data‑driven strategies are effective and aligned.

This role supports remote work, with occasional onsite attendance required for customer‑facing meetings in Columbia, MD.

• Design, implement, and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the software build, test, and deployment processes.
• Integrate various tools and technologies to streamline development workflows and improve efficiency.
• Manage and configure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation.
• Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and scalability of cloud‑based applications and infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Support infrastructure, platform, and application systems to develop, deploy, and operate software systems in the cloud.

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent field.
• 2+ years of experience in a Dev Ops or related role.
• Security+ certification (this cannot be substituted with other security certificates).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Circle
  
  CI.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
• Knowledge of security best practices and tools for Dev Ops.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

An active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position. This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
